Lake of Fire
Arising from the need for a port that would facilitate shipping between the UP and Wisconsin, Lakeside was founded in the late 1890’s. The town was mostly a fishing town, as well a central shipping point for much of the region. It also became known for the metalworks that sprang up in the mid 20’s, supplying Detroit with its necessities for decades. Detroit had its cars, and Lakeside had its fisheries and metalworks, things seemed unstoppable. When the auto industry crashed in the 80s, as it had diversified, Lakeside was only mildly affected. The fisheries kept it going and the metal was shipped all over the US. It was shortly after the first world war that the Sabbat set up shop in Lakeside, which was just close enough to Detroit that the camarilla never truly got their foothold, but far enough away that the Sabbat never really felt the need to push for it. Then a pack of Black Spiral Dancers moved in, making war on whichever side they found. The Sabbat returning fire cleared the Spirals out and moved in to set up shop, they had been there ever since.
